Privacy Policy

This policy covers the SALINK Early Access website, including the Early Access application form, SALINK Learn beta page, SALINK Services inquiry pages, and the Help & Feedback form. SALINK is currently operated from the Republic of Korea.

If you submit an Early Access application, you may provide:

• Name or nickname
• Age
• Gender
• Occupation
• MBTI, if you choose to share it
• Country, country of residence, and nationality
• WhatsApp contact
• Instagram, if you choose to share it
• English and Korean language levels
• Connection purposes
• Hobbies and interests
• Your written application responses, including why you are applying and about yourself
• An optional profile photo
• Your consent confirmations, including the 18+ confirmation

Fields marked optional can be left blank. Please do not include sensitive information that is not asked for.

If you deactivate your account, your profile is hidden from other members and new activity is paused, but your information and history are kept so you can reactivate. If you request deletion, the same applies immediately and nothing is erased at the time of the request; you can cancel within 14 days. When deletion is later carried out, some information may be deleted, some anonymized (for example, your name shown as "Former member"), and some retained where it also belongs to another member or is needed for safety, legal or accounting reasons. Specific retention periods are pending review and will be published.

The optional exit survey response is stored without your account ID: the action, the reason chosen, any optional comment, and the date. Technical security logs can still identify the submitting account. Please do not include names, contact details or other sensitive personal information in your response.

Original survey responses are scheduled for removal after 12 calendar months from collection. Monthly counts by response type and reason are retained for product improvement; those counts contain no account ID or free-text comment. This survey policy is separate from account deletion, technical logs and backup retention.

If you use the Help & Feedback form, you provide a category, your contact email, a subject, your message, and optionally the page or device concerned. This is used only to reply to you and to improve SALINK. It is sent by email to SALINK's inbox through SALINK's email delivery provider; the website does not save the form entries in a database. It is kept in the inbox only as long as needed to handle your message.

A Services inquiry may ask for an individual or business name, business or contact email, country, requested service, optional Instagram account or website, a short project brief, optional desired timing, and confirmation that the relevant policies and Collaboration Terms were read.

This information is used only to review the request, communicate with the requester, prepare an individual quotation, administer an accepted collaboration, and keep necessary business or legal records. It is not sold, made into a public member profile, used for member matching or Community participation, or automatically published for marketing.

When you submit the Services request form, the information above is sent by email to SALINK's business inbox through SALINK's email delivery provider, for the purpose of receiving, reviewing and responding to your inquiry. The website does not save the form entries in a database. Information may be handled from South Korea and shared only with providers supporting hosting or email communication, professional advisers, or authorities where required. It is retained only as needed for the inquiry, any collaboration, legal or accounting duties, and disputes. Access, correction, or deletion requests can be made through the approved privacy contact once it is published.

A profile photo is only collected if you choose to opt in and give consent for its use. If you upload one, a basic on-device check runs in your own browser to confirm the image shows one clearly visible person. This check is a simple image quality check — it is not identity recognition and it does not match you against any database.

Photos you upload are stored privately and are not automatically published, shown to other users, or used in marketing. Any future publication would follow the consent and approval process you agreed to.

SALINK Learn is a text conversation prototype. The messages you type are sent to an external AI provider to generate a reply, and that provider processes them under its own terms. SALINK does not save these conversations to an account or profile.

Your application information is not sold and is not published. It is accessible to the small SALINK team reviewing applications and to the service providers that host the website and store the data on SALINK's behalf.

Application information is stored in SALINK's database and optional photos in private storage that is not publicly readable. Information is kept while it is needed for the Early Access process and for the launch of the service.

SALINK is operated from the Republic of Korea and applicants may be located anywhere, so information may be handled outside your country.

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information in your application, or withdraw consent for your optional photo. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and nothing here is intended to limit rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

The Early Access application is for adults aged 18 and over. SALINK does not knowingly collect information from children.

This policy will be updated as SALINK develops, and the effective date at the top of this page will change.
